Jim Alati- Store Manager
Jim has worked in the jewelry industry for over 27 years, and has been working with the high-end luxury jewelry market for the last ten. He has a great deal of management experience, and helps to keep Simmons Fine Jewelry running smoothly. Jim has a great knowledge of Fine Swiss Timepieces, and a true appreciation of the unique craftsmanship used to produce the world-renowned jewelry lines Simmons Fine Jewelry has to offer. He has visited the Breitling factory in Switzerland for hands on training with these unique timepieces, and was personally invited along with Jay, to Roberto Coin's home in Vencenza, Italy. Outside the store, Jim believes in maintaining a healthy lifestyle through physical fitness. He enjoys playing ice hockey, and riding his motorcycle. Jim is proud to have been married to his wife Tammy for over 18 years, and has three grown children.

Jean Simmons- Office Manager
Jean Stevenson is the Office Manager for Simmons Fine Jewelry, and has worked supporting the store for a little over 9 years. She uses her vast computer knowledge and organizational skills to keep the store running smoothly. Jean has a great knowledge of all the designer lines Simmons Fine Jewelry offers, and has worked on the sales floor for many years too. Jean's caring attitude extended to her co-workers, family, and friends alike. When not at the store she loves playing with her young granddaughter, gardening and cooking.

Allan Beck - Shop Manager / Custom Designer
Allan Beck is the Custom Designer and Goldsmith for Simmons Fine Jewelry. He holds a Degree in Geological Engineering, and is a Lapidarist. He uses the latest and greatest technology in CAD/CAM processes for the custom pieces he creates, so each one is a wonderfully precise work of art. He has a great passion for creating jewelry, and a discerning eye for it. Allan likes to hike in the mountains looking for gemstones to cut, gardening, cooking, and teasing his two daughters.

Blake Simmons- Sales Associate
Blake Simmons is Jay and Stacey Simmons' eldest son. Jewelry has always been an integral part of Blake's life. He has been working with his father since the young age of 17, and is currently attending Boise State University. He will graduate spring of 2011 with a degree in Entrepreneurial Management, and Marketing. Blake looks forward to using his knowledge and experience in continuing to build his family business with his father. Blake really enjoys the atmosphere of meeting people in the jewelry store, and creating lasting relationships. He met his lovely wife Jill in 2007, and they wed in 2008. When not helping to support the store, they enjoy spending quality time together hunting, camping and going out on the lake.

Rachelle Simmons-Christensen-Sales Associate
Rachelle Simmons-Christensen is the only daughter of Jay and Stacey Simmons. She came to work for the family business in 2006 and loves working alongside her father. Rachelle enjoys meeting people and building relationships. Her laughter and fun-loving attitude help create a relaxed environment people feel comfortable in. Recently married to Chad Christensen, the newlyweds spend their free time wakeboarding, snowboarding, camping and spending time with family.

Crista de Lathauwer- Sales Associate
Crista de Lathauwer has twenty years of experience in the luxury goods industry. She moved to Boise in 2002 from the Bay Area and has been with Simmons Fine Jewelry since 2006. She loves meeting new people everyday, and visiting with those she already knows. Crista feels the best part of her job is helping people celebrate the special moments of their lives. In her free time she is an avid Formula 1 racing fan, and enjoys traveling. She has already visited 223 cities in over 17 countries!

Neal Hunt - Sales Associate
Neal Hunt is a newer member of the Simmons' Sales Team, and came to us with previous jewelry selling experience. Neal has a gentle caring attitude and enjoys sharing in the special moments people experience when celebrating a momentous occasion. He grew up in Boise, and enjoys the people and nature here. He is an avid hunter, and taxidermist in his spare time.

Melanie Montgomery - Marketing Director
Melanie Montgomery has been with Simmons Fine Jewelry since early 2005. A Certified Sales Associate with the American Gem Society since 2008, she enjoys continuing her education in her profession. With her background in art, she enjoys helping to display the amazing jewelry at Simmons Fine Jewelry. Mel is truly a people person with a big heart and caring attitude. In her free time she loves to cook for her family and find new ways to express her creativity.

Danielle Isaak - Sales Associate
Danielle Parker has been with Simmons Fine Jewelry since 2007, and enjoys working with couples in love, and helping them find exceptional jewelry they can enjoy forever. Her light-hearted personality and sense of humor make her easy to work with, and fun to be around. She enjoys spending time with her family and young daughter. In her down time she likes to shop, and takes advantage of the beautiful nature Idaho has to offer.

Valeen Behunin - Appraiser
Valeen Behunin has worked alongside Jay since 1990. She started as a Sales Associate, helping Jay to build lasting relationships with clients for the last twenty years. She is now the Appraiser for Simmons Fine Jewelry. Valeen has her GIA Graduate Diamond Diploma, and will be a Graduate Gemologist by next fall. In her down time, she enjoys gardening, crazy quilting, and letting her dog Mallie take her on long walks.

Gilbert Moreno- JA Certified Bench Jeweler
Gilbert Moreno has been a jeweler for over 14 years, and was the first in Idaho to become a Jewelers of America Certified Bench Jeweler. He came to Simmons Fine Jewelry in 2009, bringing with him years of experience. When not in our jewelry repair department, he enjoys riding his Harley, and mountain biking in the Boise Foothills. Laurie Souders
Laurie Souders is one of the newest members of the Simmons Fine Jewelry Business Office. She has over 30 years of administrative and office experience in a number of industries, including fine jewelry. Laurie is passionate about the selection and variety of jewelry at Simmons, as she is the first person to welcome it into the store. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she and her husband of almost 25 years enjoy spending time on the golf course, trips to McCall, eating Mexican food and being exceptional parents to their black lab mix, Nalla.
